Shuji Kumazawa has been appointed the Senior Vice President for the new Japan Office. Kumazawa started his career in the semiconductor industry in 1986. He held various sales and marketing roles at several Japanese ATE manufacturers from 1986 to 2002. During this time, he was assigned to their Singapore office for 3 years. Kumazawa has begun working in the secondary equipment market since 2002 when he joined GE Capital playing a major role in the Global Electronics Services division. He managed the Japan office as the head of the remarketing team for 10 years. In 2012, he transitioned to AGSS as their only Japan representative and after developing a strong partnership with JA Mitusi, Kumazawa worked as a senior advisor to JA Mitsui Leasing providing insight to the secondary equipment market. He will provide top-notch secondary semiconductor equipment solutions to Japanese customers with his 30+ year expertise.
